Bell & Ross, which is highly identified as an aviation, military and sport watch brand, continues in its path — but with a slight twist. The most recently unveiled BR-X1 watch — just shown to the world in Paris last month — represents a new price and complexity dimension for the brand. The highly technical BR-X1 is a Skeleton Chronograph watch in a titanium case. Based on the brand’s iconic BR-1 watch model, the new timepiece goes further — adding ceramic and rubber elements to the 45mm case and pushers. Additionally, the watch is powered by a mechanical skeletonize chronograph movement that was developed in cooperation with Dubois Depraz.
The timepiece gets its name from the Bell X-1 aircraft, which pilot Chuck Yeager flew when he became the first pilot to break the speed of sound. The watch – created in a limited edition of 250 pieces — reaches a new higher-priced retail for the brand, coming in at approximately $19,000. While this model is not out in stores yet, we have an incredible assortment of powerful Bell & Ross timepieces for you to peruse.
